Intimate summer Colorado Wedding

January 9, 2024

Juliana and Austins Colorado wedding was an absolute DREAM to be a part of. From the venue grown florals to the wood fired pizza, every detail was so special. I got to work with some of the most amazing vendors. The planner Dahlia Events and Designs was not only so kind, but so detail oriented and organized. The day was absolutely beautiful and also ran so smoothly! The Lyons Farmette was the venue and they had a full flower farm on site! We got to take sunset formal photos in-between rows of flowers. I was so excited to find out that the talented florist for the day, Plume and Furrow, only used flowers that were grown there! I had so much fun shooting alongside my good fried Kali, who also traveled in from Utah to take a part in this wedding.

We started off the day with a first look that about brought tears to my eyes. It was so obvious the love that J + A have for each-other throughout the entire day but especially in that moment. They both teared up and it was so special to watch. We ventured into the garden for a few minutes to grab some additional shots and it started pouring rain. We were all so surprised and sprinted for cover. It luckily cleared up quickly and I learned that apparently that’s pretty normal for Colorado weather!

The ceremony took place under a large tree. The beautiful floral arch was placed behind them. It was full of happy tears and laughs from not only Juliana and Austin but also their families and guests. I could feel how much love their families had for them the whole time.

The ceremony was followed by a yummy dinner! Mountain Crust catered wood fired pizza with the coolest pizza truck! There were speeches that had everyone in happy tears and laughing fits including me!

They ended the night with popsicles and an epic dance party that had everyone on the dance floor! I am so honored I got to be a part of this amazing celebration of these two and their love. I am always in awe when clients trust me enough to fly me across state lines to spend the day with them. I love my job!
